River Birch - 5 stem
Prune healthy trees during their dormant season, which is late summer to early winter. While the tree is young, leave lower branches on the trunk to nourish the tree and shade the trunk.

Hydrangea arborescens 'Annabelle'
Plants may die to the ground in harsh winters. Bloom occurs on new wood, so plants may be pruned back close to the ground in late winter to revitalize and to encourage vigorous stem growth and best form. If not pruned back, any weakened and/or damaged stems should be removed in early spring.

Hibiscus moscheutos 'Luna Red'
Cut back old hibiscus stems to about about 3 feet tall just before winter. The stems generally will die back over the cold season. Prune the old stems to the ground in spring to make way for new growth shoots

Carsten's Wintergold Mugo Pine Pinus mugo 'Carsten's Wintergold' - small longer needle evergreen for among the rocks in the dry bed or near rocks in backyard bed

Peve Minaret Dwarf Bald Cypress Taxodium distichum 'Peve Minaret' - bald cypress look in 6'x2' form column very slow growing

Sherwood Compact Mugo Pine Pinus mugo 'Sherwood Compact' - short radiant evergreen max 24 in

Irish Moss Sagina subulata - between rock garden rocks in the back dry bed

Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Filicoides Compacta'- dwarf fern-like evergreen
